Creating an online version of an email (Page Link)
1. Create your email newsletter - get it to the point it is finished and tested and ready to send.
2. Click on "Source" in your email. Select all (control A) and copy all (Ctrl C).
3. Open new window in the database by clicking on "Session" - one of the blue links on top right.
4. In new window / session, click on "Link Manager" - one of the blue links on top left and from the "New Link" drop down menu, select "Page Link".
5. Type in name of link and click on "Edit Page" - the blue link below the name. Delete the three ...
6. Click on "Source". Select all (Ctrl A) and paste (Ctrl V). This will paste all the source code from your email into your page.
7. Click on "Source" again to look at the page in normal view. Fix anything that looks incorrect - using the editor toolbar at top as much as possible and going into source only if the toolbar doesn't work or you want to change some of the fixed settings (e.g. font sizes).
8. Click "Save" at top and see what page looks like. If anything is thrown out, click the "Edit Page" link again to fix. Repeat until all looks fine.
9. Once everything looks good, click on the blue "Page Link" link at the bottom where the URL is. This will take you to the actual online version so you can see what that looks like too. (You will not be able to see the blue "Page Link" in the place where you edit your page - only once you have clicked "Save" from the Edit Page version.)
10. If all good, go back to your window with the page link and copy the URL (from the www. on to the end) and click "Save" at the top.
11. Go back to your window with your email. At the bottom of the email - under the table - write "If you are having problems viewing this email please click here to view the online version." Highlight the words "click here".
12. Then click on the insert link on the top row of your editor toolbar (the globe with a chain link).
13. Paste in the URL in the dialogue box. Then click on the "Target" tab in the dialogue box and select "New Window" from the dropdown menu. Click "OK".
14. Save your email and send yourself a test mail. When you receive the mail, check the link that you created.
