Creating a call and finding it again

Calls are a very good way to manage your time and to maintain call lists, whether it be for sales purposes or follow up purposes.

Creating a new call

Callsleft.jpgTo create a call - click on the calls button on the control panel - just below your groups button. If you do not have theis feature - please get in touch with us to discuss switching it on!

If you have no calls on your OpenNetworks CRM - the screen will say No Calls found... with a New Call button below that. Click on the new Call button to start creating a new call.

On the New call screen - give the call a name - bear in mind this is what will appear on the list view - and also what you can search for - so let it make sense! The click on the change link next to the Greyed out contact box and in the dialog box that appears type in the name of the person you want to call. Add them to the call by clicking on the Add button next to their names. Set the time and date you want the call to be scheduled for - and make a note if you like to remind you what you need to chat to them about.

Call reminder.jpegA very handy feature of calls is the reminder function. You can choose to set up a reminder - either through sms or email to be sent to you before, or on time for the call. Just check the reminder checkbox and make your choice!

Once you are done - you can click on Save. You will then be take to a list of your active calls.

If you want to set up a call for someone else who is a user - follow the steps above, and then on the Owner dropdown list aboce the Notes field - choose that particular user as the owner. Once you click save the call will not show on your calls list - as it is not your call to make! It will show on the other users call list - and also send them an alert to their email inbox that the call has been set up for them on the CRM.

Finding calls that you created or that have been assigned to you.

To find a call that you have created for yourself - or that another user has assigned to you - search for the call on the left hand control panel by typing the name into the blank area next to the Calls button - then clicking on calls or using Enter on your keyboard. If you are searching for the correct term - it should appear on your calls list.calls list.jpeg

To access the call information - click on the name of the call - and all the information relevant to that call will appear - including the details of the person that needs to be contacted and was linked to the Call.

 

From here you can either move the call on if you need to reschedule it - or archive it if you have completed it.
