Creating a new User Account.

You can only create User Accounts if you are a Business Manager.

The new User must exist as a normal contact first.

Search for that contact, click on their name to see their full details.  Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the button 'Convert to Employee User Account' Convert Button.  You will get a pop-up warning message - "this action cannot be reversed".

The new User's password will be "password", so the new user should login, and immediately change their password.

 

PLEASE NOTE: once you have created a new user - you cannot delete them or remove them, so make sure you are converting the correct contact to a user.
